Did have the intention of doing so but being the only Trill onboard at the time of the rescue of Raekwon Vox, who unfortunately died of his injuries, had to become the new host for the Vox Symbiont. |

| Personal History | Deezell, an only child, grew up pretty much like any other child on the Trill home world, but she had an interest in how things worked from a very early age. As she got older, she taught herself how to take things apart, repair them, and then put them back together. It wasn't long before she saved her mother the time of having to hire people to fix things in their home, as Deezell was able to fix almost anything. She was the first in her family to be accepted into Starfleet, where she excelled at various subjects including history, engineering, propulsion and languages. After graduation, her first assignment was on Starbase One orbiting Earth. She eventually earned the promotion to Ensign and asked for a new assignment to Starbase 400, which unknown to her, would dramatically change her future. Whilst on route to SB400, the ship she was on, picked up a distress signal from a private vessel, that was critically damaged due to collision with a quantum filament. The sole pilot. A joined Trill, Raekwon Vox was severely injured. Moments after rescue, his ship exploded. Unfortunately, Raekwon died of his injuries and so the ship had to delay it's arrival at SB400, in order to take the symbiont 'Vox' back to Trill. On route, however, the health of Vox deteriorated and only implantation to a new host could save them. Deezell Timurs was the only Trill onboard which meant she was the only candidate. After a very concise lecture from the Chief Medical Officer, who himself openly admitted not having a great understanding of the Trill and of joining, Deezell laid on the operating table one person and woke up a completely different person, even her friends from the academy, also assigned to SB400 weren't sure who she was. So now, not only was she the first in her family to join Starfleet but also the first to be joined in over 200 years. VOX Host History (Symbiont is 218 years old) Torbin, was a renowned scientist at the height of his career. In his spare time he was a sculptor and many of his pieces can be found in various parks and buildings across the planet. Married to Telah with whom he had a son, Darrek. Died aged 101 (with symbiont 75 years) from 2189 to 2264) Azrel was a Starfleet officer. She served aboard various vessels and outposts in her career. She is mostly recognised for her posting aboard the USS Midway in the late 2260's. Her fiancé was murdered by Joran Dax in 2286. She never got engaged again. Died aged 90 (with symbiont for 50 years, 2264 to 2314) Lerani, an artist and keen gardener (who won many competitions), owned a vineyard, making a very popular wine on Trill with her husband, Loren. They had twins called Jayna and Luca. Died aged 105 ( with symbiont 60 years 2314 to 2374 ) Jorran Experimental Engine Test Pilot. He helped design and test engines used both on and off-world. Died aged 35 in an accident, leaving behind his wife Lucy and their daughter Nicole. (with symbiont 10 years 2374 to 2384) Raekwon - Antique dealer. Lived on Starbase 400 for many years. Helped Starfleet retake the station from enemy forces. Rumoured to have been a smuggler of rare artefacts and an associate of the feared and prolific smuggler and mercenary, Jurlan Topsinnengi. Died in an accident aged 42 (with symbiont 15 years. 2384 to 2399) |
